Because we earn from affiliate schemes ourselves, we know better than most about what makes a good affiliate scheme work, what you need and what you don’t need.
No matter what level of traffic you have, you can rest assured that if you pass a customer to us, we’ll treat your customers with care. (Just try ringing our 0800 number on our homepage – no queues, no foreign call centres, just 100% customer service). Just as importantly, we’ll also pay you a great commission.
And because we started out as a small company, we don’t do deals with major portals who will steal your customers before they even reach your site.
Sounds good? That’s just the start of it.
By becoming an affiliate of checkmyfile, your customers will have access to the longest established and most comprehensive credit reporting service in the UK. No other company provides credit reports from all three agencies. Our prices start at just £9.75. We don’t offer ‘free trials’ based on breakage models used on US websites, just honest to goodness, cheap prices and independent, professional help for your customers. Don’t think for a minute that low prices means low commissions, the increase in volumes will speak for themselves.
We’ll provide you with all the usual banners, links and creative options. If you have any need for tailored content, we’ll provide it quickly, and for free.
For every credit file sale generated from referrals from your website, we pay market leading commissions for our direct, whether a subscription has been purchased, or even for a single credit report or credit score sale. And because we accept payment by virtually every means possible, and not just by MasterCard or Visa credit card, the chances of your customer buying from us are that much higher.
What’s more, for direct affiliates we’ll pay you commissions in the first week after month end. You won’t have to wait ages to earn. If we’ve been paid, then you’ll be paid. Yes, there are plain English terms and conditions attached, but it is pretty much that simple.
Key questions we would ask if we were you
What are your commission rates?
For every Triple Agency Unlimited Access subscription service you generate, checkmyfile will pay you a commission of £8.50 following the initial subscription payment.
For every Single Agency Unlimited Access subscription service you generate, checkmyfile will pay you a commission of £4.50 following the second subscription payment.
For every individual sale of credit files, Single Agency Unlimited Access subscription, or credit scores you generate, checkmyfile will pay you 20% of the sale price of those files or scores.
Quoted rates are inclusive of VAT. We issue commission cheques and self billing invoices within 7 days of month end, subject to a minimum remittance of £30. If your sales don’t reach £30, we’ll accrue your earnings until they do. How good is that?
What sites send most paying visitors to checkmyfile?
You’d be surprised. We’re not about to tell our competitors where to get the best business from, but just about any type of website can do well by affiliating with us. Please note that we don’t allow credit repair companies to link to us.
Who buys credit files?
Everyone should of course, and more and more people are beginning to clock that. Purchasers tend to be credit active people – anyone looking for credit, declined credit, or worried about identity theft.
What about sales you get from my customers ringing you direct?
Yes, we don’t like affiliate schemes that don’t pay commission when it’s due, either. As a matter of routine, when someone buys over the phone from us, we ask where they found out about us, and then will credit you automatically if your site is mentioned.
Finally, we’d prefer to deal with you personally rather than sign you up, impersonally, online. To become a direct affiliate of checkmyfile simply email me at richard@checkmyfile.com and let me know more or less where you plan to put a link to us on your website, and your VAT registration number, and I’ll take it from there.
